Shopping For a New Motorcycle

I’m moving along on purchasing a new motorcycle and by new I mean not used, something from a dealership. I’m looking hard at older models left on the showroom floor. This means I can get a good deal but still have a brand new motorcycle. This being said I’m not looking forward to dealing with potentially pushy salespeople and pressure.

To prepare for this I did a bit of reading. I found the following articles pretty helpful.
These three articles from RideApart are pretty good (Part One, Part Two, Part Three). I also found this one useful.

Overall I’m feeling a little more knowledgeable about the subject, now I just have to find the perfect bike for the perfect price.

Writing about riding.

Working on Blog or shopping for new motorcycle?

About MotoCynic

I started riding motorcycles in 2006, and there is no going back. I've ridden more than 100,000 miles, most of it on a Ducati Monster, and despite setbacks and murderous BMW's I'm loving every mile.
