Plan B: Taking a Break

I’m at a Starbucks in Paso Robles and just finished eating lunch. I’m taking advantage of the fact that I lugged this damn laptop down here and posting something up.

It has been a great morning. I got an early start and was on the road by six this morning. It was pretty chilly especially when I got out to Watsonville and the Coast. I took a breakfast break in Carmel and defrosted, then I tackled Hwy 1 South. It was cool on the coast, but just beautiful. My pictures just don’t capture it all I’m hoping the video I took helps. Traffic wasn’t too bad, but it wasn’t as light as I was hoping.

I wish I could capture in words how much riding just gets me right in the feels sometimes. Days like today are as close as I get to heaven.  Just me, the road, sunshine, and I’m happy.

This "road" more like a goat trail was gorgeous, just a lovely wandering thing through the hills.

About MotoCynic

I started riding motorcycles in 2006, and there is no going back. I've ridden more than 100,000 miles, most of it on a Ducati Monster, and despite setbacks and murderous BMW's I'm loving every mile.
