Plan B

I’ve been working hard the last few days trying to figure out what I’m going to do instead of going to Death Valley. I’ve talked to a lot of my local motorcycling friends and the NorCal Ducati group and I feel like the consensus is to go south, and looks like I’ll do a version of Days One and Four from the planned Death Valley Trip. Basically everything except in and around Death Valley.

Word Press is being a giant pain in the ass with posting embed maps from Google, so here are the links of maps of the routes I’m planning on taking on Thursday and Friday.

Now that I’ve pretty much decided what roads I’m taking, I’m wondering if I need to carry the extra fuel I bought canisters for. I won’t be as off the beaten track as I was originally thinking I would be but we’ll see. I’ll spend some time and I will look at good locations for breaks, and fuel ups for both myself and the bike.

I’m looking forward to all of this. I think being out on the road by myself for a little while will be good.

California needs a good north south road besides Hwy One.

About MotoCynic

I started riding motorcycles in 2006, and there is no going back. I've ridden more than 100,000 miles, most of it on a Ducati Monster, and despite setbacks and murderous BMW's I'm loving every mile.
