Use That Big Brain of Yours (wear a helmet)

No worries. I’m 25,000ish miles and counting crash free. (I really hope I haven’t jinxed myself.)

I was looking at my closet full of motorcycle gear and realized that I really should finally get rid of my Helmets that I’ve ruined in crashes. One is almost from three years ago and the other from four and a half.

This one is from the BMW Crash, and did it’s job given the extent of my injuries.

I think that would have hurt a bit if it was skin.

Helmet Back

Apparently I moved my head a bit while sliding down the freeway.

Helmet Good Side

When I look at these… and I relive the crash in my head… I just am so very thankful that I wear good helmets.

About MotoCynic

I started riding motorcycles in 2006, and there is no going back. I've ridden more than 100,000 miles, most of it on a Ducati Monster, and despite setbacks and murderous BMW's I'm loving every mile.
