The Boots

It’s hard to write critically about something if you have nothing to compare it to. I like my boots, and they came well recommended (by the BMW man).
So what’s good about them? I feel safe in them, shin armor (which those in the “know” say is important) as well as good ankle support, and a toe slider that since plastic tends not to last more than one impact, but is better than losing bits of shoe.
They are all day comfortable… if your on the bike, which leads to the bad.
They are not all day comfortable if your walking… ouch.
Also not water proof.. in the slightest. I seem to think they were supposed to be, but no.. they are not.
What are they?
Sidi .. and not sure the make, since they’ve been discontinued, but it’s a cross between the B2 and the Strada Air.

Oh, and I think they look good, but they’re Italian, so they should right.

About MotoCynic

I started riding motorcycles in 2006, and there is no going back. I've ridden more than 100,000 miles, most of it on a Ducati Monster, and despite setbacks and murderous BMW's I'm loving every mile.
