Rode home in the rain today, definitely not one of the finer things to do on a motorcycle. It was fine though. Wet feet and stuff sucks however. I did have a bit of a rear tire traction loss on a large metal plate… luckly I was taking the corner at a slow speed or I am sure I would have crashed. As it was it turned out fine.. tire caught up again and I rode it through… it is an intereesting feeling … having your back tire slide out from behind you. It slid about 1-2 feet to the left (right hand turn) and then caught, jerking the bike upright and moving me on.

But yeah… not something I need to do everyday… thank goodness I live in California.

About MotoCynic

I started riding motorcycles in 2006, and there is no going back. I've ridden more than 100,000 miles, most of it on a Ducati Monster, and despite setbacks and murderous BMW's I'm loving every mile.
