Riding motorcycles

So in the anger at my lack of decent internet I forgot to mention the highlight of my day. Besides the pretty girl I married.

I took the long way home.. working on breaking in those tires!
Just the usual 84 to 35 to 92 to 280 and home.

Just a beautiful day for riding. Was nice to get out and about.

About MotoCynic

I started riding motorcycles in 2006, and there is no going back. I've ridden more than 100,000 miles, most of it on a Ducati Monster, and despite setbacks and murderous BMW's I'm loving every mile.

I am pretty sure that those hills of ours are a motorcyclists amusement park!
    – just be sure to keep all limbs inside the ride at all times –

Should have been with me sunday! Did the Doc Wong route, ended up going down the 9 to saratoga, stopped for coffee, then came back up the 9 to the 35 all the way back to the 92. Awesome weather, awesome ride. I started around 915 and finished about 6:30. Maybe next time…

Yeah I had no tires on the bike 😦 I really wanted to ride.
Which reminds me… how are your tires holding out.. with 6k + on them??

That’s a good question. I have tread left, but as far as what’s recommended, I should probably have somebody look at it. My rear tyre is definitely worse than the front, although I did see two guys riding this weekend with tyres that were almost completely bald. Anyways, I have two expenses coming up fast, new tyres, and my first valve service. Oh yeah, all in time with my trip to japan, oh I’m feeling the pinch this month!
